Volunteers from Stryker Ireland, one of JAI’s long standing supporters in the Munster region and one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, deliver a range of JA primary and second level programmes to students in Cork schools each year. Stryker employ over 2,200 people at numerous locations in Limerick and Cork.

In November 2017 a team of six volunteers from the Stryker site in Carrigtwohill visited Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Carrigtwohill to deliver Our Universe, one of JA’s STEM programmes designed for primary school students. Sixth class students participated in activities from the Our Universe programme as volunteers guided them through the various modules which included conducting a C.S.I. experiment, examining the properties of light and building a periscope.
