Transition year Students from Breifne College with Business volunteer Daryl Stinson
Transition year students from Breifne College, Cavan, took part in the MetLife sposored Finance Your Future programme. Taught by business volunteer Daryl Stinson, from The National Treasury Management Agency, the students covered real-to-life topics like balancing your own personal budget, learning about credit cards, interest rates, as well as how the markets work in the form of stocks and shares.
James Sherry, Transition Year Coordinator at Breifne College, commented that “the students really enjoyed the programme and gained valuable knowledge with regard to their financial futures. Thanks to Daryl for all of his work with the group.”
